Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had earlier informed that the announcement will be made on July 2 or July 3. However, it was not declared. Now the revised date for the NEET PG test will be announced on the National Board of Examinations’ official website, natboard.edu.in.
About the NEET PG 2024 exam date, a meeting was held in the Union home ministry on Monday, in which officials from the health ministry, National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), along with its technical partner Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and Cyber Cell officials discussed the preparedness for the NEET-PG, which is to be held online.
The meeting also discussed the “robustness” of the system for the conduct of the exam in the coming days, the sources added. It was learnt that the TCS top brass briefed the meeting about the various aspects of the exam procedure.
As the NEET PG 2024 was postponed, the NBE is expected to issue fresh admit cards with the new exam date.
Till now, there is no confirmation about whether new applications will be accepted for the revised exam date. Moreover, it is uncertain whether new admit cards will be issued or candidates will be allowed to use their previous hall tickets on the day of the exam.
