The President acknowledged the National Dairy Research Institute's contribution to the white revolution and quality education. The dairy sector provides livelihood to eight crore families and contributes about 5% to the country's GDP. Additionally, the Haryana Chief Minister promised to provide loans to unemployed youths interested in running a dairy industry.
