NCET Results 2024
NCET Exam Result 2024 details
The NCET is a national-level entrance exam for admission to the 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in selected Central/ State Universities/ Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges. The exam was held on August 9, 2024.
The qualifying marks for the NCET 2024 exam are 50% for general category candidates and 45% for reserved category candidates. The NTA will release the cut-off marks for the NCET 2024 exam soon after the result is announced.
The cut-off for the NCET 2024 is expected to be released along with the result. The cut-off will be based on the number of seats available and the performance of the candidates.
Candidates who qualify the NCET 2024 exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process for admission to ITEP programs offered by participating institutes. The counselling process will be conducted by NTA in September 2024.
The role of NTA is confined to the NCET registration of candidates, the conduct of the test, hosting answer keys, inviting challenges, finalizing answer keys, preparing and declaring results, and hosting Scorecard.
Merit list will be prepared by the aforesaid participating Universities/ Institutions/ Government Colleges, they may conduct their individual counselling on the basis of the Score Card of NCET 2024 provided by NTA.
