9 Central Government announced three schemes for disaster management in the country with an amount of more than Rs.8000 crores​

He said that in the last nine years, the amount released from the National Disaster Relief Fund has increased almost three times from Rs 25 thousand crore to Rs 77 thousand crore.

Section 22 of the UGC Act has provisions to empower the University Grants Commission to notify new degree nomenclature.
