During her participation at the Vikas Bharat Ambassador-Nari Shakti Conclave in Delhi University’s north campus, Union Minister Smriti Irani declared that the Ministry of Women and Child Development has sanctioned Rs 272 crore from the Nirbhaya Fund for providing residential accommodation to girls and working women at Delhi University. She brought out the initiative’s significance, aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India by empowering women engaged in higher education and the workforce.
