IAS Pari Bishnoi hails from Kakra village, located in the Bikaner district of Rajasthan. While her education qualification is concerned, she completed her schooling at St. Mary’s Convent School in Ajmer. Furthermore, she scored 91% in her class 10th examination. Moreover, she scored 89 % in the class 12th examination respectively.

After completing her schooling, Bishnoi ventured to Delhi to pursue her undergraduate studies at the University of Delhi’s Indraprastha College for Women. Later, she pursued a master’s degree in political science from MDS University in Ajmer.

Before clearing the UPSC Civil Services exam, it is reported that IAS Officer Pari Bishnoi qualified for the University Grants Commission–National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) examination.

When asked about her motivation to join the civil services, Pari revealed that her inspiration came from her mother, Sushila Bishnoi, who serves in the Rajasthan Police. Growing up, she watched her mother bring about significant changes, even on a smaller scale. As per various media reports, her mother was also one of the first female officers to serve as SHO in many police stations, which inspired Pari to pursue a career involving fieldwork and public service.

Bishnoi successfully cleared the UPSC Civil Services examination 2019 and secured the All India Rank(AIR) 30. It is reported that Pari Bishnoi cleared the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) Civil Services examination in her third attempt. A very interesting fact about her is that before passing the examination, she used to live like a monk. To focus on her studies for the exam, Pari completely stopped using her phone and deleted all of her social media accounts.

IAS Officer Pari Bishnoi was appointed as the Returning Officer for the General Elections 2024. At present, she holds the position of Additional District Magistrate in Sikkim, under the North East Cadre. It is reported that Pari cleared the UPSC examination at the age of 23.

She is married to Bhavya Bishnoi, an MLA from Haryana and the youngest grandson of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal, as well as the son of BJP member Kuldeep Bishnoi.
