The Union Public Service Commission examination is India’s prestigious and one of the toughest examinations in the country. It checks an aspirant’s patience, wisdom and knowledge in three different stages of examination. Lakhs of aspirants appear each year to become IAS, IPS, IFS and other allied services of the central government.

Today, we will discuss Srushti Deshmukh who cleared UPSC 2018 Civil Service Examination with AIR 5. She cleared the examination in her first attempt.

Srushti Deshmukh was born in Bhopal to her father, Jayant Deshmukh, and mother, Sunita Deshmukh. She completed her schooling at Carmel Convent School in BHEL, where she scored a perfect 10 CGPA in class 10 and 94.3% in class 12. Later, she attended Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, where she earned a B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering.

She decided to pursue UPSC and gave her full devotion with hard work. Shestarted preparation by watching RSTV and reading newspapers. She also took help of online resources, Srushti’s hard work finally paid off and she secured 5th rank in UPSC 2018. She married IAS officer Dr Nagarjun B Gowda.
