Inspired by her brother’s accomplishments, Sumegha was motivated to pursue engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). After clearing the JEE exam, Sumegha completed her B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Delhi. As per her LinkedIn profile, she went on to earn a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Princeton University. Post-B.Tech, she also had the opportunity to work as a visiting student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Furthermore, Sumegha served as a Rabin Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University.

My research interests are in complexity theory, algorithmic fairness and information theory.
