Hailing from Maharashtra, IAS Arpita Ashok Thube has consistently been an outstanding student. She completed engineering at Sardar Patel College of Engineering. Driven by a desire to serve the nation, she began preparing for the UPSC examination. Although her first attempt in 2019 ended in disappointment when she failed to crack the preliminary round, she remained determined. In 2020, her hard work paid off as she secured the 383rd rank and earned a position in the Indian Police Service (IPS).

IAS Arpita Ashok Thube cracked the UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2020 and secured the All India Rank (AIR) 383. She scored 779 in the written examination and 157 in the personality test. Overall, she scored 936 in the UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2020. However, she aimed to become an IAS officer.

In 2021, she attempted the exam again but narrowly missed her goal. Undeterred, she took a break from her IPS responsibilities to dedicate herself fully to preparation for a final attempt. In 2022, she appeared for the UPSC exam for the fourth time, demonstrating that persistence and resilience are the true pathways to success.

Once again, IAS Arpita Ashok Thube cracked the UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2022, and secured the All India Rank (AIR) 214. She scored 789 in the written examination and 190 in the personality test. Overall, she scored 979 in the UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2022.
