After completing her Masters degree in music, Pallavi Mishra decided to follow in the footsteps of her elder brother and crack the UPSC CSE, but success eluded her as she was unable to clear the exam in her first attempt. After the initial setback, Pallavi reviewed her strategy and immersed herself in self-study, which according to her became the key to her success.

Ultimately, Pallavi Mishra, without taking the help of any formal coaching, cracked the UPSC exam in her second attempt and achieved an impressive AIR of 73.

Pallavi has attributed her success to the unwavering support she received from her family, especially her IPS officer brother, who guided her throughout her journey of becoming an IAS officer.
