The examination of the Union Public Service commission is believed to be the toughest and most prestigious examination in the country. Many aspirants each year move to the national capital for preparation of the examination but only a few make the cut who believe in oneself and remain focused on their studies with hard work and dedication.

Today we will discuss Pradeep Singh Malik who cracked UPSC and secured AIR 1 in 2019. In fact Pradeep cracked the examination twice and he was receiving training as an IRS officer in Haryana’s Faridabad.

Pradeep’s father is a farmer and served Tewri village of Sonipat’s Ganaur village as Sarpanch. His mother is a housewife.

According to HT reports, Pradeep’s focus was to cover targeted syllabus each day. He said that his father encouraged him as he felt that he was not consistent in his studies.

After completing his graduation, he cracked the staff selection commission exam and got the first job as Income Tax officer. He was posted in Delhi. He attempted UPSC four times. In 2018, he got 260th rank and posed as an IRS officer. Later, in 2019, he topped the prestigious examination.

Pradeep admitted that it was very tough for him to study and do a job simultaneously. He thanked his friends who also helped him crack the examination.
