UPSC News: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination is one of the toughest and most challenging competitive examinations in India. Conducted annually to recruit candidates for various civil services of the Government of India, the UPSC exam is known for its difficulty and competitiveness, with lakhs of aspirants applying each year, but only a selected few successfully secure the top positions. Today, let’s delve into the life of an IAS officer who cleared the UPSC exam on her very first attempt.

IAS officer Chandrajyoti Singh cleared the UPSC exam at the age of just 22, securing an All India Rank of 28. What makes her achievement extraordinary is the fact that she cleared the UPSC exam without any coaching. Accomplishing such significant success at such a young age is truly impressive.

Chandrajyoti Singh, who was brilliant in studies, completed her schooling from Jalandhar’s APJ School where he scored a perfect 10 CGPA in class 10. Post-schooling, she pursued her class 12 from Bhavan Vidyalaya in Chandigarh. She then earned a dual graduate degree in History and Political Science from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University.

After completing her graduation, Chandrjyoti Singh started preparing for the UPSC exam. She worked hard for a year and passed the exam on her very first attempt. To clear the exam, she also took mock tests, and her year-long effort paid off when she became an IAS officer.

Chandrajyoti stands as an inspiration for many UPSC aspirants, proving that if you set your mind to something, you can achieve anything through hard work.
