He lived in a humble house built under the PM Awas Yojana, studied on the phone with a cracked screen, and prepared for exams in a home without a proper roof. His mother played a crucial role in his journey, often staying awake with him at night to provide warmth and encouragement, sacrificing her comfort to support his aspirations.
In 10th grade, Sarfaraz aspired to join the National Defence Academy (NDA), but financial hardships and an unforeseen accident derailed his plan. Determined not to give up, he shifted his focus to cracking the NEET exam during the COVID-19 pandemic. Inspired by Alakh Pandey’s educational videos on YouTube, he began his preparation with limited resources.
Sarfaraz’s unwavering determination and hard work paid off when he cleared NEET 2024 and secured admission to Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College in Kolkata.
