However, Gaurav soon quit IIT Delhi, and instead opted to earn a B.Tech degree in Computer Science at BITS Pilani, but left after a year to complete his B.Tech from Punjab Engineering College
After his graduation, Gaurav Kaushal started preparing for the UPSC CSE, and aced the examination in his first attempt, securing an AIR of 38, to become an IAS officer.
