Here is a story of women who wanted to become a detective, archaeologist, lawyer and novelist in the childhood and is now working as an IAS officer. She was very smart in studies and wanted to go to America for her higher studies, but life had other plans for her. Neha Bhosle was born and raised in Mumbai. She chose Science in her 11th and 12th grades, eventually pursuing an Engineering degree from Mumbai University.

Success story of IAS Neha Bhosle​


After Neha completed her engineering from Mumbai, she decided to appear for CAT where she got an impressive of 99.36 percentile. After this success, she secured a seat at the IIM Lucknow, where she pursued her MBA. Within her two years of undertaking an MBA program at IIM Lucknow, she got the opportunity to experience a number of internships. During her time in Lucknow, she came across other students rigorously preparing for the UPSC exam.

By the time she graduated from her MBA in 2014, she was leaping into her career initiation stage. Coincidentally, Gaurav Agarwal, an alumnus of IIM Lucknow who topped the UPSC results that very year, was announced around that time, and this motivated her immensely.

Due to the full-time job that Neha was perusing, she was not able to devote full time to the preparation of UPSC exam. Consequently, she failed in her first attempt but before her next attempt, she quit her job and started preparing for UPSC exam full time. As a result of her continuous handwork, Neha was finally able to clear the Civil Services examination and that too with a prestigious rank of AIR 15.
