IAS Success Story: Failure is a stepping stone to success. Well, nothing can prove this proverb much better than the success story of IAS Vijay Wardhan. Hailing from Sirsa in Haryana, Vijay completed his B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from Hisar. He then moved to Delhi to prepare for the UPSC examination, but luck did not seem to be on his side.

Despite attempting 35 times, he could not pass any of the government exams, including the Haryana PCS, UPPSC, SSC, and CGL, during his preparation. However, he never lost hope. In 2014, Wardhan took the UPSC exam for the first time but unfortunately did not succeed.

In 2018, after numerous attempts, Vijay Wardhan finally cleared the UPSC exam, achieving an All India Rank (AIR) of 104 and earning the title of IPS officer. However, dissatisfied with his role as an IPS officer, he decided to take the UPSC exam once more. In 2021, he succeeded in this endeavor and became an IAS officer.
