Who is Aditya Srivastava?​


Aditya hails from Uttar Pradesh’s capital city, Lucknow. He completed his schooling at CMS Lucknow’s Aliganj branch with impressive marks in Class 12. He was the topper in Class 12 with an impressive score of 95 percent. He cleared one of the toughest exams JEE Advanced, and was admitted to IIT Kanpur in 2014. There he pursued a combined B.Tech and M.Tech degree.

After completing his studies, Aditya worked for Goldman Sachs for 15 months and then decided to quit the job and pursue Civil Service Exam.

After a while, he landed an attractive job in Bengaluru that offered an annual wage of Rs 40 lakh. Despite this, he decided to leave this job after a year and a half to chase his dream of serving in the government. His complete dedication to his goal led him to resign, preferring to focus entirely on his UPSC examination preparations. Indeed, his determination paid off; on his third try, Aditya sailed through with the 136th rank, securing himself a spot in the IPS. Upon finishing his IPS training, Aditya didn’t rest; he once again immersed himself in studying, setting his sights on the UPSC 2023.

He cracked all levels of the UPSC exam on his third attempt in 2023. He also emerged as the topper of UPSC 2023.
