Manipur High Court: In a public interest litigation for public buildings situated in Churachandpur District, Manipur accessible to people with disability and elderly persons by providing Ramps & Toilets as prescribed under Section of the read with Rule 15(a) of the , the Division Bench of D. Krishnakumar, CJ*. and Golmei Gaiphulshillu Kabui, J. directed the State Government to file a report before the Court regarding the action taken in this behalf before the next hearing.

The Court viewed that the matter was urgent for providing ramps and toilets to people with disabilities and elderly persons.

The matter was further listed for a hearing on 29-01-2024.
