Between 10 am to 5 pm, the students can visit the colleges for admissions and the college then has to update the admission details between 5 pm to 6 pm. The process will be repeated daily until every student is admitted.
The vacancies will be revised from time to time and students should check the vacancies before applying and the activities will repeat daily. It is a provision to have the admission based on merit according to the government resolution. The allotment of the students will be based on merit.
If their merit matches the cut-off and vacancies in their preferred colleges, the allotment will be made. Once, the admissions are done the student is removed from the system. If the admission is not done, the student is expected to lock his or her details again for the daily merit process. The students should make use of the option called know your eligibility to better understand their merit standings.

- For such students who have confirmed their admission in any Jr. College through Centralised Admission round or through any quota admissions, the admission process is completed there itself.
- Centralised Admission Process & Quota Admissions will be conducted simultaneously as per schedule.
- Jr. Colleges will be permitted to surrender the vacant Minority & In-house quota seats after Round-III.
- They should follow the time limit given for any activity.
- Time Table for further Admission rounds (Regular & Special Round) will be declared thereafter.
- Junior colleges will be responsible for completing the syllabus of the students admitted after the commencement of colleges by conducting extra classes.
- In view COVID-19 situation, Colleges should collect their admission fee from the students only through Digital Payment mode like Payment Gateway, Bank Transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS), any eWallet etc. to contain the spread of coronavirus Schedule for further Admission process will be declared thereafter.

- This announcement of offline exams comes at a time when students were constantly demanding online exams due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Further, vaccination has been made mandatory for students. As per guidelines, more than 25 students will not be allowed in a class. This has been capped to maintain social distancing.
- Further to ensure students don’t face problems, Maharashtra Board will provide Medical Help at all exam centres and this time, the number of exam centres has been increased by almost 4 times to accomodate students with COVID-19 safety protocols.
- The biggest relief that MSBSHSE has provided students is that in case a student misses MSBSHSE SSC, HSC exams due to being infected with COVID-19, those students will most likely get another opportunity later to appear in the exams. Detailed guidelines on this will be released later.
- Examinations would be conducted in offline mode for both Class 10 and 12 – no online exams to be conducted.
- Board exams would be conducted in the same schools that the students are enrolled – this has been done due to impact of COVID19 pandemic on travel.
- Practical exams for Class 10 would not be conducted this year – for class 12, the practicals would include limited experiments. Half an hour extra to be given to students to write, differently abled to get one entire extra hour.
- Thermal screening to be done at all exam centers for students. If students have Covid or are in containment zones during exam dates, they can give the a special exam in June. This will be treated as main exam and not as a supplementary exam.
- The Education Ministry has been working to address the many concerns of the students as the cases continue to rise in Maharashtra. Question Banks have been released for SSC, HSC Board Exams to help students prepare for the same.
