Maa Manikeshwari University, Bhawanipatna, has launched an innovative project to enhance botanical knowledge by attaching QR codes to around 100 trees on campus. These codes provide detailed information about each plant, including its botanical name, medicinal uses, and traditional value. This initiative honors Padma Shri awardee Patayat Sahu and aims to promote environmental awareness. The university also plans to plant over 500 saplings and has established a herbarium for research and preservation.
