While some of the universities organize their own entrance test for admissions. Candidates will be able to appear in any entrance exam and get admission in the basis of their ranks.

Entrance Exams

Law Admission 2025


The candidates will have to fulfill all the eligibilities given below in order to be eligible for the admission followed by the counselling.

  • There will be no restriction in upper age limit to apply in national level exams.
  • For admission in law UG courses, candidates must pass the 12th class from a recognized board with 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
  • For PG courses, candidates should have an LL.B or equivalent degree from any recognized institution or college.
  • The qualifying examination should pass with a minimum 55% (50% for reserved categories).
  • Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure


The candidates those wishing to enroll themselves in law courses will get admission either through entrance exam or through merit basis. Qualified candidates will be called for the counselling process according to their ranks in the entrance exam.

Counselling process will be conducted through online or offline mode as per the decision of the respective counselling authority. In the counselling process, candidates will be asked to choose the colleges and courses as per their preferences.

The authority will allocate the seats on the basis of rank, seats availability and filled choices. After the seat allotment, candidates will be required to report the allotted institution/college for further admission formalities.
