KVPY Selection Procedure 2024
Candidates whose Inspire (KVPY) registration will be submitted online successfully will be called for obtaining the scholarship. The aptitude test which was earlier conducted has now been scrapped by the authority.
Candidates those listed in the merit list/ cut off list will be called further for the further process. No interview rounds are conducted for the meritorious candidates.
Candidate’s are motivated to study for science and research. After all the process, the list of final selected or not selected candidates will be released.
For the award of scholarship, candidate’s overall performance in qualifying board marks/ national level test scores are considered. No interview round is conducted for students selection. Students are informed about their admission rounds on the website.

are the minimum qualifying marks to be secured for getting DST Inspire SHE scholarship. Only the candidates are selected for scholarship who have got same or more than cut off marks in 12th board result.
The cut off marks are released in the PDF format and the ones whose name are there in merit list are considered qualified and their names will appear on INSPIRE selection list.
KVPY (INSPIRE) 2024 Merit List
The of DST Inspire scholarship will be released online on the website. Candidates can view it in the month of May/ June 2024. The selection list as well as the rejection list can be obtained from the online website.
The merit list contains the IVR number, name, parents name of the selected candidates. Also, students can check the reason of getting rejected in rejection list.
INSPIRE 2024 Scholarship Amount
Students who are selected will be provided with Rs. 80,000 per annum. The scholarship amount is segregated into annual scholarship Rs. 60,000 and summer time attachment fee will be Rs 20,000.
The annual scholarship will be Rs. 60,000 and will be deposited to students account at Rs. 5000 per month. The scholarship will be provided for maximum of five years or until the completion of course. A total of 12,000 Inspire SHE scholarship will be made available to eligible students.
