The Delhi Government's Directorate of Education has introduced mandatory 40-minute mental maths classes for students in grade 5 through 12. The initiative aims to increase students' calculation abilities in an age of reliance on calculators and other devices. Mental maths will be incorporated into the curriculum in the hope of strengthening mathematical foundations and fostering mental agility. Software such as Acadzo has also been developed to improve auditory skills, speed up calculation speed, and boost problem-solving abilities, while classic games like chess and Rubik's Cube can also refine mental maths abilities.
