KEA extends the fee deadline for PGCET 2024 to June 24

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the fee payment deadline for the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024. Originally set for June 22, 2024, the deadline is now June 24, 2024. Candidates who registered but were unable to complete their fee payment can now do so by logging into their account on the official website, , by the new deadline.

How to pay fees?

Step 1 : Go to the official website:

Step 2 : On the homepage, select the link labeled “PGCET 2024 online application.”

Step 3: Enter login details, then application form will appear on the screen.

Step 4: Pay the registration fee and submit the form.

Step 5: Save and download the registration form for future reference.

Additionally, the Examination Authority has informed students applying for MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, and March courses that they can edit their application forms, pay the fees, and choose their exam center until June 24, 2024 up to 6 pm.

Meanwhile, the Karnataka government has decided to raise the fees for engineering and architecture courses in private unaided educational institutions by 10% for the 2024-2025 academic year.

This decision was reached on Friday, June 21, 2024, with State Higher Education Minister Dr. M.C. Sudhakar, Medical Education Minister Dr. Sharan Prakash Patil, representatives of private aided and unaided professional educational institutes, and officials from the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (KUPECA) arrived at a consensus on the fee hike on Friday, June 21, 2024.


Initially, the management of private professional colleges had requested a 15% fee increase but later agreed for a 10% hike.
