The Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test, or PGCET, is conducted for admission to part-time and full-time MBA, MCA, ME, MTech and MArch courses in affiliated institutes.

Earlier scheduled to be held in September, the Karnataka PGCET will now be held in November. The revised PGCET Karnataka date will be announced soon.

Based on the performance of the candidates in the PGCET 2024, the merit or rank list will be prepared and released on the official site.

All the eligible candidates who have got the requisite percentage of marks as the case may be will be allowed to participate for document verification process and later online seat allotment process in the order of their merit/rank, as per the time schedule which will be notified later.

In PGCET 2024 examination, there will be no negative marking for wrong answers but marks will not be awarded if a candidate gas marked more than one answer indicated against a question on the OMR answer sheet.

Karnataka Postgraduate Common Entrance Test Admit Card 2024 has been released on the official website by the Karnataka Examination Authority or KEA.

Candidates should note that admit card is one of the most important documents that need to be carried by them to the exam hall.

It has been released for the entrance exam that would help candidates to secure admission in MBA, MCA, M.E, M.Tech, M.Arch courses for the yea 2024-25.

The KAR PGCET admit card will have the examination centre along with other details regarding the exams.

Candidates appearing for the exam should remember to carry the hall tickets along with them as no examinee will be allowed to enter the examination centre without the admit card.

The Karnataka PGCET exam admit card will let a candidate know the roll number, exam centre details, exam guidelines and exam day timings.

Credentials including registration number, dates of birth will be required to access the Karnataka PGCET admit card.

  • Karnataka PGCET Exam 2024 would be conducted for a maximum of 100 marks.
  • The exam would be held for a duration of 2 hours.
  • Further, the entrance test would be OMR sheet based and there would be no negative marking in the exam.
  • Candidates should note that the PGCET Answer Key 2024 would be released 3 days after the exam would be conducted.
  • The Final Answer Key would be released by candidates, after the objections, if any, raised by candidates against the Provisional Answer Key is taken into consideration.
  • The objections would be reviewed by experts of the respective subjects.

How to download Karnataka PGCET Admit Card?​


KEA would release the Karnataka PGCET Admit Card on its official website, .

Eligible candidates who have registered from the PGCET Examination can check details download the admit card from the official web portal. Candidates may follow the given simple steps to download the admit card.

  • Candidate has to visit the website for this open any browser and enter in the address bar and then hit Enter.
  • Then KEA website will be displayed on the screen.
  • After successful entry of the website address candidates go to the ‘Latest Announcement’ section available on the homepage.
  • Click on “Karnataka PGCET Admit Card” on the latest announcement at the home page of the KEA website.
  • The candidate will be directed to PGCET 2024 Admit card download page.
  • After visiting the admit card downloading web page, enter the all the required details and click on the Get Admit Card button. Your admit card would be downloaded.
  • Open the admit card and check the all details. Take a print of the form for any future reference.
  • Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test, Karnataka PGCET 2024 has been postponed by Karnataka Examinations Authority.
