Kanu Agrawal appointed Additional Advocate General of Jammu and Kashmir

The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir or representing their cases before the Supreme Cour has appointed Advocate Kanu Agrawal has the Additional Advocate General (AAG) of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K)

As far as educational Agrawal is an advocate-on-record at the Supreme Court and a junior of Solicitor General Tushar Mehta.

He graduated from the National Law Institute University, Bhopal in 2016 and worked as a judicial clerk at the Supreme Court under Justice Abhay Manohar Sapre (now retired). He also worked at the chambers of advocates Sandeep Das (AoR) and Vipin Tyagi.

During the AoR examinations held in 2021, Agrawal was ranked second

The J&K administration had last month appointed advocate Rushab Aggarwal as Standing Counsel and advocate Shailesh Madyal as Advocate-on-Record to represent J&K before the Supreme Court.
