Jharkhand High Court has granted permission for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) candidates from neighbouring states to participate in the recruitment examination for 26,000 Assistant Teacher posts in Jharkhand. The court mandated that successful candidates pass the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) within three years. The High Court also directed the government to organize JTET annually. The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission released the exam schedule, with the test taking place from January 12 to 31, 2024.
