JMI Opens Doors to Skill-Based Short-Term Courses

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has opened applications for short-term courses designed to equip students with practical skills. Offered through the university’s Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), these programs aim to boost students with practical skills, job prospects and professional abilities across various in-demand fields.

The process for registration is now open and the deadline to sign up is until August 18. To lock their spots, candidates can apply within the deadline.

JMI’s new skill-based short-term courses include a variety of fields. The courses are data science, performance marketing, digital marketing basics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, cyber security, ethical hacking, audio and video editing, tailoring and embroidery (basic and advanced), bakery training (basic and advanced), UI/UX designs, and beautician training (basic and advanced).

Eligibility Criteria

To join these courses, the individual needs to have finished their higher secondary education or a similar qualification. Some courses may require additional knowledge, such as for courses like data science, AI and ML, you may need a basic understanding of mathematics and programming.
