As a result of a cold wave-like situation in the state, all government and private schools in Jharkhand will be shut from December 26 to 31, as per an official notification released on Thursday. The minimum temperature ranged from 7 to 11 degrees Celsius on Wednesday night, with Garhwa recording the lowest temperature in the state at 6.6 degrees Celsius, followed by Daltonganj at 7.9 degrees Celsius.
