JPSC Paper Leak: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission(JPSC) was scheduled to hold the Combined Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2023 today, March 17, 2024. However, as per prabhatkhabar.com report, the JPSC Civil Services Prelims papers were allegedly leaked at the Jamtara test centres as well as Upendra Nath Verma Inter College, Chatra test centre ahead of the examination. Taking to X, several students claim that the bundle of question papers was opened even before the commencement of the examination.

Sharing a post on X, Jharkhand BJP president Babulal Marandi said,”In #जामताड़ा and #JPSC answer sheets are being filled openly outside the examination centre. Question paper leak is also coming to light in #चतरा . The decision of the Champhai government to conduct the JPSC examination in a hurry with incomplete preparation and a malicious attempt to sell seats has shattered the dreams of the students. It is a shame to have exams in Jharkhand and its paper gets leaked every time. JMM Congress government has created such an image that ‘if there will be an examination, the paper will be leaked’.

“I appeal to the youth of Jharkhand, now we need your support in uprooting this corrupt government. I assure that as soon as the Bharatiya Janata Party government is formed, we will selectively send such corrupt people to jail and will ensure the rights of the youth of Jharkhand and ensure malpractice-free examinations,” he further added.

SDO, SDPO, and other senior officials are investigating the matter. Meanwhile, the principal of the Upendra Nath Verma Inter College denied the rumours. As of now, neither the Commission has released any statement regarding the alleged paper leak nor confirmed the report.
