JEE Main 2025 application form closing date: Attention aspirants! The National Testing Agency(NTA) has released an important advisory for all the JEE Main aspirants. According to the advisory, NTA has received grievances from a few candidates regarding the technical issue in Aadhaar Card authentication due to a mismatch in the names of the Aadhaar Card and Class 10th educational certificate/marksheet while filling the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Main online application form.

To streamline the process for JEE (Main) 2025, the NTA has made slight modifications in the online application form to assist the candidates complete their forms smoothly. The following steps are to be taken by the candidates to overcome such issues:-

(a) If a candidate receives the following message / Pop-up after selecting “Confirm Name as per Andhaar”, the candidate should close (X) in the message/pop box:- Close X

Name mismatch during Aadhaar Authentication. To update your Name in Aadhaar Card, please visit your nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra. For details please visit .

To proceed with Aadhaar Authentication, please enter your name as given in Aadhaar.

(b) On closing the above message / Pop-up box, a new window will appear on the screen to proceed with Aadhaar authentication. In this step, candidates must enter their name exactly as it appears on their Aadhaar card.

(c) Both the name on the educational certificate and the Aadhaar card will be captured during this process, allowing the candidate to continue with the application form.

Candidates are advised to take note of the above and fill up the application form accordingly. The last date for submission of the JEE Main application form is November 22, 2024. The JEE (Main) – 2025 is being conducted in the following modes:

  • a) Paper 1 (B.E. /B. Tech.) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode.
  • b) Paper 2A (B. Arch): Mathematics (Part-I) and Aptitude Test (Part-II) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode and Drawing Test (Part-III) in pen and paper (offline) mode, to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size.
  • c) Paper 2B (B. Planning): Mathematics (Part-I), Aptitude Test (Part-II), and Planning-Based Questions (Part-III) in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
