Aligarh : The newly elected students’ council post holders were handed over responsibilities in the investiture ceremony held at the S.T.S. School, Aligarh Muslim University.
The Chief Guest Prof. Abid Ali Khan, Deputy Director, Directorate of School Education, AMU handed over the school flag to the school Principal Mr. Faisal Nafis, along with Master Mohammad Ali Mujtaba (Head Boy) and Syed Adeeb Imam (Deputy Head Boy), symbolizing the trust and responsibility bestowed upon them.
Master Shadab Khan (Cultural Captain), Master Anant Baghel (Cultural Vice Captain) and Master Arshil Afzal (Sports Captain), Master Uzaif Zaheer (Sports Vice Captain), House Captains and House Vice Captains, Prefects received their badges and sashes, affirming their roles as leaders in fostering talent and teamwork.
The house flag was presented to the respective House In-charge and Assistant House In-charges of four houses, namely Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire and Topaz. The momentous oath-taking ceremony, administered by the Chief Guest resonated with the promise of dedication, integrity, and commitment by the student leaders.
Prof. Abid Ali Khan encouraged the students to lead by example and uphold the values of the institution. He urged them to embrace challenges, work collaboratively, and always uphold the values of respect, honesty, and perseverance.
Earlier, delivering the welcome address, Mr. Faisal Nafis highlighted the significance of the occasion.
Ms. Nasreen Fatima proposed a vote of thanks, while Mrs. Ghazala Tanvir conducted the programme.
