ALIGARH : Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Hall, Aligarh Muslim University organized an Intra-faculty tennis ball cricket tournament, Inferno-2024, sponsored by Advocate Nadeem Anjum of Medics Foundation.
The team of 21BALLB (III Year) emerged victorious against 19BALLB (V Year) in a tightly contested match, which was earlier inaugurated by the Provost of the Hall, Prof. Hashmat Ali Khan.
The league matches were played between 8 teams of the faculty, including a team of non-teaching staff, and another led by the Provost.
The chief guest, SP City, Shri Mrigank Shekhar Pathak (IPS) and the guest of honour, Mr Nadeem Anjum congratulated the participating teams and gave away the trophy to the winning team.
Senior Hall, Syed Kaif Hasan, Cricket Captain, Tanzeel Islam Khan and Secretary Hall Games, Naved Pasha worked hard to organize the tournament.
