An international scientific team, led by experts from the University of Jammu and Dr. Micha Horacek from the Austrian Agency of Food Safety, conducted research in Kishtwar to assess the effects of bio-fertilizers on saffron growth. The team engaged with local saffron growers and agriculture officials, discussing the application of a bio-fertilizer developed by the University of Jammu. Demonstrations and trials were initiated at a Saffron Development Farm to explore the fertilizer's impact on saffron growth, aiming to boost productivity and offer new market opportunities.
