Aligarh : “The International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every year on 12th May, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth, and is an opportunity for us to celebrate our nurses and their unwavering commitment to making a difference to people’s lives” said Prof (Dr.) Farha Azmi Principal Nursing College on International Nurses Day Celebration, organized by Nursing College, AMU.
To commemorate the occasion various programmes were held on the theme announced by the International Council of Nurses; “Our Nurses. Our Future”. Nursing Students presented a group song. Mehvish Mueen B.Sc Nursing 3rd Sem. delivered a talk on the History of Nurse Day. Students also participated in Poetry recitation, Skit presentation, Ragoli and Poster making Competition.
The winners were felicitated with certificates by Prof Azmi . Miss Muskaan a B.Sc Nursing 3rd Sem student conducted the proceedings and delivered vote of thanks.
