Inter-school Qirat competition held to mark Eid Milad-un-Nabi

ALIGARH : Syedna Taher Saifuddin School (STS) School, Aligarh Muslim University organized an inter-school Qirat competition, marking the Eid Milad-un-Nabi programme.

Abu Huraira (STS School) won the first prize, while Mohd Khubaib (STS School) got the second prize. Mohd Abdul Basit (RMPS School) and Saba Hasan (AMU ABK High School Girls) shared the third prize.

Two participants, Insiya Firdous (AMU Girls School) and Syeda Safiya Saifullah (AMU City Girls High School) received consolation prizes.

The competition was judged by Qari Mohammad Muslim and Qari Waseem Ahmad

Mr. Faisal Nafis, Principal, STS School congratulated the winners for their performances and appreciated the efforts of all participants.

Earlier, Dr Sadaat Suhail welcomed the guests and participants and Dr Tanweer Hussain Khan, Vice Principal, declared the contest open urging the participants to give their best.

Dr. Sadaat Suhail extended a vote of thanks.
