1. Indo-US military exercise at Mahajan Field Firing Range from September 9
The military exercise between the Indian and US armies will begin from September 9 at Mahajan Field Firing Range in Rajasthan and will continue till September 22. Along with the Indian Army, 1200 soldiers from the world’s most powerful country, America, will take part. 600 soldiers each from both countries will show their strength. This will be the biggest military exercise till date. During the exercise, India will display its top range and for the first time, the US will deploy High Mobility Artillery Rocket System. This system is capable of making precise attacks at long distances.
2 4 agreements were signed between India and Singapore
On September 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Parliament during his two-day visit to Singapore . India and Singapore signed important agreements in the field of semiconductors, digital technology, health cooperation and skill development . Officials of both countries signed the agreements in the presence of the Prime Minister. Under the agreement, both countries will cooperate in the field of digital technology. With this, the two countries agreed to cooperate in areas such as digital technology such as DPI, cyber security, 5G, emerging technologies such as supercomputing, quantum computing and artificial intelligence. An agreement was also reached between the two countries to enhance the skills of workers and improve the skills of people working in the digital domain. India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has also signed an agreement with Singapore to strengthen the semiconductor ecosystem. Under this, semiconductor clusters will be created in the country and people will be trained in semiconductor design and production. The ceasefire agreement between the Nikki Group was extended for a period of one year.
4 Union Textiles Minister Shri Giriraj Singh launched India’s first fashion forecasting initiative ‘VIZIO NXT’
Union Textiles Minister Shri Giriraj Singh launched National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) ’s bilingual web portal ‘ Vizio NXT Fashion Forecasting Initiative ’ and India-specific fashion trend book ‘Paridhi 24×25 ’. Vizio NXT – a trend insights and forecasting initiative – was conceived and founded in the year 2018 at National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Delhi (Creative Lab) and National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Chennai (Insights Lab) in collaboration with Ministry of Textiles , Government of India. Now centralized in Chennai, it focuses on delivering trend insights and forecasts for the Indian fashion and retail market. It also offers various trend consulting services, educational courses, workshops, etc. National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Vizio NXT is a first of its kind initiative in India that combines Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Ecological Intelligence (EI) to generate fashion trend insights and forecasts.
5 Nitin Gadkari, Hardeep Puri inaugurate India Bio-Energy and Technology Expo
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari and Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri jointly inaugurated the India Bio-Energy and Tech Expo 2024 in New Delhi on 2 September 2024. India Biofuels and Technology Expo 2024 is being organized by the Indian Green Energy Association and MM Active Science-Tech Communications Limited from 2 September to 4 September at Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, New Delhi. The two ministers also presented awards to companies that are playing a vital role in the bio-energy industry and have been instrumental in increasing bioenergy production and supply in the country. India Bio-Energy and Tech Expo 2024 was organized by the Indian Green Energy Association in collaboration with MM Active Science-Tech Communications Limited in New Delhi. India Bioenergy & Tech Expo 2024 provides a platform for stakeholders to discuss the future of bioenergy technologies and take steps to promote green energy initiatives in India.
6 Zero hour begins in Himachal Pradesh Assembly
For the first time, Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly has introduced Zero Hour in its legislative proceedings from 4th September 2024. The practice of Zero Hour in parliamentary democracy is a gift of the Indian Parliament. It was incorporated in the proceedings of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha during the sixties, and the practice is gradually being adopted by other state legislatures in India. The term Zero Hour is nowhere mentioned in the rules of Parliament and State Assembly. It is a tradition, not a rule. Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker, Kuldeep Singh Pathania had announced the introduction of Zero Hour in the proceedings of the State Legislative Assembly at the start of the Monsoon Session of the Assembly on 3rd September 2024. Zero Hour will begin at 12:30 pm after the Question Hour of Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly ends and will last for half an hour. During Zero Hour, Assembly members can raise matters of urgent public importance. According to the Speaker, members will get a minute or a little more to raise matters of public importance. In Parliament or state legislatures, the first hour of each day’s proceedings is devoted to Question Hour, during which members ask questions to the government of the day.
7 Karnataka government withdraws decision to boycott SBI-PNB
On 5 September, the Karnataka government withdrew its decision to boycott State Bank of India (SBI) and Punjab National Bank (PNB) . SBI and PNB have paid the government the embezzled Rs 22.67 crore along with one year’s interest. The government had alleged that SBI and PNB had misused government funds . After the appeal of both the banks, the government had put a stay on its circular for 15 days on 16 August. These banks were asked to withdraw their money and close the accounts. Also, public sector undertakings, corporations and local bodies were ordered to withdraw their money from these banks. SBI is the largest government bank in the country, with a market capitalization of Rs 7.17 lakh crore. The central government has a 56.92% stake in SBI. Punjab National Bank is the second largest government bank, with a market value of Rs 1.25 lakh crore. Whether it is the pension of state government employees or other financial work, it is usually done in these two banks.
8 National Exit Test-NEXT for AYUSH announced to be effective from the year 2021-2022 batch
Union AYUSH Minister Prataprao Jadhav has said that the National Exit Test (NExT) for Ayurveda, Unani, Yoga and Homeopathy Medicine will be mandatory for the 2021-2022 batch and beyond . Mr Jadhav said the decision was taken on the recommendation of a committee constituted to review the concerns of students on the matter. He said the committee recommended that NEXT be implemented on students enrolled in the academic session 2021-22 under the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine and National Commission for Homeopathy Act. The committee was chaired by Professor Sanjeev Sharma, Vice Chancellor of National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur . Professor Sharma reviewed the suggestions of the students and submitted the recommendations to the Ministry. Under this, the exam is mandatory for licensure and enrollment in the state or national register after completing one year of internship. Mr Jadhav also announced Desh Ka Prakriti Pariksha Abhiyan, a nationwide campaign focused on the health and well-being of all citizens.

President Smt. Draupadi Murmu presented National Awards to teachers across the country at a function held in New Delhi on Teachers’ Day , September 5, 2024. Every year, India celebrates the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan on September 5 as National Teachers’ Day. The National Teachers’ Award aims to celebrate the unique contribution of teachers in the country and to honour those teachers who through their commitment and dedication have not only improved the quality of education but also enriched the lives of their students. Each award carries a certificate of merit, a cash prize of Rs 50,000 and a silver medal . The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education has selected 50 teachers for this year’s National Teachers’ Award. They have been selected through a rigorous transparent and online three-stage selection process i.e. District, State and National level by the Department of School Education and Literacy. The 50 selected teachers are from 28 States, 3 Union Territories and 6 organizations. Out of the 50 selected teachers, 34 are men, 16 women, 2 Divyangs and 1 working with CWSN. Apart from this, 16 teachers from the Higher Education Department and 16 teachers from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship were also honored.

According to Forbes, Shahrukh’s net worth in the year 2022 was Rs 5116 crore, which increased by 8% after the success of Jawaan and Pathan. After King Khan, Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay is in this list. Thalapathy deposited Rs 80 crore tax. The top-5 of this list includes Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan. 11 In Paris Paralympics, India ranked 14th in the medal tally with a total of 25 medals with five gold, nine silver and 11 bronze medals
Kapil Parmar created history by winning a bronze medal in the men’s 60 kg J-1 Para Judo event on the eighth day of the Paris Paralympics . Kapil won the bronze medal for the country by defeating Brazil’s Elitton de Oliveira 10-0 a short while ago. India qualified for Judo in the Paralympics for the first time and also won a medal. India is at the 14th position in the medal tally with a total of 25 medals including five gold, nine silver and 11 bronze medals.
12 Dhanush Srikanth wins three gold medals at World Deaf Shooting Championship
Indian deaf shooter Dhanush Srikanth won three gold medals at the 2024 World Deaf Shooting Championship held in Hannover, Germany . The International Committee of Sports for the Deaf is organizing the 2024 World Deaf Shooting Championship in Hannover, Germany from 29 August -8 September 2024. Dhanush Srikanth set a new world record with a score of 632.7 in the men’s 10m air rifle event . All three medals in the event were won by Indians: Dhanush won the gold medal, Shaurya Saini won the silver medal and Mohammed Vania won the bronze medal. Srikanth won his second gold medal in the 10m mixed team event with Mahit Sandhu . The Indian team of Mohammed Vania and Natasha Joshi won the silver medal. His third gold medal came in the 10m air rifle men’s team event , where he won the gold medal with Shaurya Saini and Mohammed Vania .

Dr. Radhakrishnan was also a scholar, teacher and famous philosopher . He was born on 5 September 1888 in Tiruttani . He was awarded the country’s highest civilian honor ” Bharat Ratna “. Many legal provisions have been made regarding education in India. Most of these are described in the Constitution. According to Article 45 of the Constitution, the provision of universal, free and compulsory education is the joint responsibility of the Center and the State. At the same time, Article 30 deals with the establishment of educational institutions . Articles 15, 17 and 46 provide for protecting the educational interests of the weaker sections of the Indian community . Also, Article 239 provides for education in Union Territories .
