India donated digital equipment worth Rs 300 million to 200 schools in Sri Lanka's Southern Province, enhancing educational modernization. The donation, including 2,000 Tabs and 200 Smart Classrooms, was celebrated in Galle with President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha. This initiative, requested by Health Minister Dr. Ramesh Pathirana, aims to digitize education, benefiting 150 schools in Galle and 50 in Hambantota and Matara. This project marks significant progress in Indo-Sri Lankan educational cooperation.
