The placement season at the Indian Institutes of Technology witnessed crore plus offers from investment banks and high frequency trading firms, with international offer numbers similar to last year. IIT Bombay saw crore plus offers from Samsung, Korea, while Qualcomm picked up more than 20 students. IIT Guwahati received 11 offers of Rs 1 crore plus packages. IIT Roorkee had a student bag an offer of Rs 2.05 crore from Databricks. IIT Kharagpur had 19 international offers on day one, and IIT Delhi had 480 offers on the first day of placements.
