Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) has chosen MK Rajesh to head the ICAR-Central Plantation Crops Research Institute Regional Station, Vittal, in Mangaluru. Rajesh is known for his contributions to the field of molecular biology and biotechnology. He has worked on the development of synthetic seed technology, genome sequencing, and identifying molecular markers linked to the tall/dwarf trait in coconut and arecanut.
