The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results for the CA Final exams held in November 2024. Candidates can access their results and scores on the official ICAI websites— icai.nic.in or icai.org.
Out of 66,987 candidates who appeared for Group 1, 11,253 successfully cleared the exam, resulting in a pass percentage of 16.8%. For Group 2, 10,566 out of 49,459 candidates passed, marking a pass percentage of 21.36%. Additionally, 13.44% of students passed both groups.
Heramb Maheshwari from Hyderabad and Rishab Ostwal R from Tirupati jointly secured the All India Rank (AIR) 1 with an impressive score of 508 marks (84.67%). The second rank was bagged by Riya Kunjan Kumar Shah from Ahmedabad, who scored 501 marks (83.50%). Kinjal Ajmera from Kolkata claimed the third position with 493 marks (82.17%).
The Group 1 exams were held on November 3, 5, and 7, while Group 2 exams took place on November 9, 11, and 13.
To check their results, candidates need to visit the ICAI website, input their registration number, roll number, and captcha code, and download the result sheet for future reference.
In comparison, the May 2023 results saw a lower Group 1 pass percentage of 9.46%, with 6,176 out of 65,294 candidates clearing the exam. However, the Group 2 pass percentage was slightly higher at 21.6%, with 13,540 out of 62,679 students passing.
This year’s results highlight a significant improvement in overall performance.
