Old rule: Previously, having a darshan ticket was not necessary to book a room.
New rule: Now, room booking is separate from darshan tickets. You cannot book rooms unless you have a darshan ticket for the same dates.
Can I book a room if I have a darshan ticket?
If you book a darshan ticket on the 20th, you can only book a room for the 19th and 20th dates.
Other dates will not be available for booking.
We are traveling with elderly people who cannot walk long distances. Can we book a room near the temple?
Room availability on the hilltop: During the online booking process, only room rent will be displayed; the exact room location is not shown. Therefore, the exact location of your room cannot be predicted.
How many people can stay in one room?
Two people need to provide their Aadhaar card details while booking.
TTD does not ask for more than two people's details for a room.
We are 10 people, and we need 2-3 rooms. Will they be in the same location?
It is not guaranteed that all rooms will be together. Rooms will be assigned based on availability at the time of booking.
What should I do after booking a room?
After booking, take a printout of the room booking.
Go to the CRO Office on the hilltop (Tirumala) near the ARP counter and scan your printout.
Depending on availability, the room location will either be shown on the screen immediately or you may receive a message on your phone within 30 minutes.
If you don’t know the location, ask the temple authorities or taxi drivers to guide you.
Can I cancel the room booking? Will I get a refund?
Room cancellation is possible within 36 hours of booking.
If you cancel within this time, the full amount will be refunded to your account.
