Alka Saraogi, a Hindi novelist and short story writer, has been chosen as the recipient for the Fakir Mohan National Literary Award for 2023. The award, presented by Fakir Mohan University, is in memory of renowned Odia writer Fakir Mohan Senapati. Saraogi, who received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2001, will receive a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, a memento, and a citation.
