The HPCL-Mittal Foundation, associated with HMEL Guru Gobind Singh Refinery, plans to promote STEM education by establishing mini science labs in 5 government schools. The first lab was inaugurated at a school in Tarkhanwala village, benefitting around 1200 students. The foundation aims to enhance students' understanding and interest in science by providing practical learning experiences. Additionally, scholarships and electronic devices are offered to high-achieving students, and meritorious students are sent to Delhi CSRL for IIT and NIT admissions preparation.
