New Delhi: Good news for IAS officers Tina Dabi, Artika Shukla, and Rukmani Riar as the government has decided to promote them to fresh administrative positions in the upcoming year. As per Livehindustan’s report, the Bhajanlal government in Rajasthan is likely to grant promotions to over 32 IAS officers on New Year’s Day. Among them, eight officers from the 2012 batch will be promoted from junior to selection administrative pay scales. According to the report, these officers include Rukmani Riar, Omprakash Kasera, Siddharth Sihag, Himanshu Gupta, Namit Mehta, Avichal Chaturvedi, and Tikam Chand Bohra.
Additionally, eight officers from the 2016 batch will be promoted from senior to junior administrative pay scales, which includes famous names such as Tina Dabi (currently the District Collector of Barmer), Jasmeet Singh Sandhu, Amit Yadav, Pratap Singh, Dr. Manju, Ravindra Goswami, Rohitash Singh Tomar, and Artika Shukla (District Collector of Alwar). Earlier in September, Tina Dabi was posted as Barmer District Collector. While her husband IAS officer Pradeep Gawande was posted as Jalore Collector.
The report further stated that from January 1, 2025, IAS officers will begin working in their newly promoted positions. The Personnel Department has completed the significant preparations for this transition. It is expected that a meeting of the committee, chaired by Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant, will commence soon, where a decision will be made on the time-bound promotions.
