Goa's state government now requires individuals applying for government positions to have one year of work experience. This experience can be gained through apprenticeships, government or semi-government roles, or in private establishments employing at least five individuals. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant stated that this new mandate emphasizes practical experience and aims to improve the qualifications and skills of candidates applying for government jobs. It aligns with the government's objective of recruiting individuals better prepared for public service.
