Aligarh : Abdullah Hall, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organised fit India week, in which 42 students participated in athletics, 32 in badminton, and 350 in yoga.
The Provost Prof Ghazala Nahid motivated the students. The event was organised by Mehwash Khan. Dr. Ismat, Dr. Khalida, Dr. Nazia, and Dr. Sadia, Ms Roomana, Dr, Eisha and Ms Durdana were present during the event.
Meanwhile, Abdullah School celebrated the sixth edition of the fit India week, with events like hurdle race, sprint, book balancing race, spoon race and problem solving race. Ten girls and ten boys participated in each category of the race.
Fifty students took part in the fitness pledge, while another fifty students exhibited their skills in Yoga and meditation. A debate and quiz competition was held for the students.
The Superintendent Mrs. Umra Zaheer administered the fitness pledge in the morning assembly.
Mr. Mohd Azeem Hameed was the incharge for the event.
