IIT Bhubaneswar has started classes for its 4-year BSc-BEd Integrated Teacher Education Programme. The programme aims to equip future teachers with essential skills and knowledge to effectively teach students. It offers a condensed time frame of four years, unlike the conventional five-year duration. The first batch of 50 students, selected through a national-level entrance test, will undergo their entire education in an active learning environment. The programme includes subjects like art education, Sanskrit language, and yoga, along with core subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, and economics.
