Reference is given to the RFP Document uploaded by MoSPI in the Central Public Procurement Portal (CPP Tender Reference Number I-34011/22/2024- NSSO(SCD) CPP Tender ID 2024_MSPI_781465_1) regarding the proposal for empanelment of Survey Institutions for National Statistics Office, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI), Government of India. National Statistics Office has initiated the process to empanel Survey Institutions for conducting sample surveys on Socio Economic indicators for Government of India, details of which have been provided in the RFP document.
The Survey Wing of the National Statistics Office (NSO) undertakes extensive sample surveys across India in various fields. These surveys primarily focus on collecting data through nationwide household and enterprise surveys on socio- economic topics. To enhance its reach and expand the scope of its surveys, the NSO issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) on December 12, 2024, inviting private survey institutions to join as partners. This collaboration aims to strengthen the NSO’s ability to conduct a broader range of surveys across multiple sectors by leveraging the expertise and resources of private agencies. The empanelment initiative will enable the NSO to access a more diverse audience and collect data from a wider array of regions, ultimately contributing to improved decision-making and more effective policy development. The last date for submission of bids/ proposal due date is extended to 05.00 PM, January 13, 2025. Interested institutions are advised to submit their proposals in hard copy/ physical mode to the designated address quoted below before the extended deadline. MoSPI looks forward to increased participation from eligible institutions/ agencies in the RFP and assisting us in broadening our outreach. It may be kindly noted that no further extensions will be done.
