Bhajan Lal Sharma Council of Ministers was expanded in Rajasthan . Governor Kalraj Mishra administered the oath to 12 cabinet ministers, five ministers of state with independent charge and five other ministers of state in a ceremony held at Raj Bhawan in Jaipur in the afternoon . Surendra Pal T.T. Also took oath as Minister of State with independent charge. He is contesting the assembly elections from Karanpur seat . The election on this seat was postponed due to the death of Congress candidate Gurmeet Singh Kunnar . With this expansion of the Council of Ministers, the total number of Council of Ministers including the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Ministers has become 25. Doctor. Kirori Lal Meena, Gajendra Singh Khinvsar, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Babulal Kharadi, Madan Dilawar, Jogaram Patel, Suresh Singh Rawat, Avinash Gehlot, Joraram Kumawat, Hemant Meena, Kanhaiya Lal Chaudhary and Sumit Godara took oath as cabinet ministers. Ministers of state with independent charge include Sanjay Sharma, Gautam Kumar, Jhabbar Singh Kharra, Surendra Pal Singh and Hiralal Nagar. Ministers of State include Otram Dewasi, Dr. Manju Baghmar, Vijay Singh Chaudhary, Krishna Kumar Vishnoi, Jawahar Singh Bedham.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the newly constructed Ayodhya Airport . The airport has been named Maharishi Valmiki International Airport . At a public event, the Prime Minister expressed happiness over naming the Ayodhya airport after Maharishi Valmiki. He said that Maharishi Valmiki’s Ramayana is the path of knowledge which connects us to Shri Ram. In modern India, Maharishi Valmiki International Airport will connect us to Ayodhya Dham and the divine-magnificent Ram Temple. The airport has an annual capacity of 10 lakh passengers in the first phase and after the second phase, Maharishi Valmiki International Airport will serve 60 lakh passengers annually.
3 PM inaugurates multiple development projects worth over Rs 15,700 crore
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated , dedicated to the nation and laid the foundation stone of several development projects worth more than Rs 15,700 crore in Ayodhya Dham . These include development projects worth more than Rs 11,100 crore in Ayodhya and its surrounding areas and other projects across Uttar Pradesh worth about Rs 4,600 crore. The Prime Minister underlined the importance of December 30 as it was on this day in 1943 that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose hoisted the tricolor in Andaman . Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged people to celebrate Diwali in the country and light the Ram Jyoti on January 22 , the day of Ram Lalla’s consecration in the newly constructed temple of Ayodhya. He said that the entire country should shine on this occasion.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the redeveloped Ayodhya railway station in Uttar Pradesh . It is now called Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station. This railway station has the architectural imprint of Shri Ram temple of Ayodhya . It is known that it has been developed at a cost of more than Rs 240 crore and about one lakh passengers will be able to move from here every day. This three-storey railway station is equipped with modern facilities. The Prime Minister also flagged off a new class of super fast passenger train named Amrit Bharat Express. These trains will run between Darbhanga and Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal and between Malda Town and Sir Visvesvaraya Terminus in Bengaluru. Amrit Bharat Express will have better luggage racks, mobile holders, LED lights, CCTV, public information system and other facilities. The Prime Minister also flagged off six new Vande Bharat trains today. These include Vande Bharat Express trains running between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to New Delhi, Amritsar to Delhi, Coimbatore to Bengaluru Cantt, Mangalore to Madgaon, Jalna to Mumbai and Ayodhya to Anand Vihar Terminal.

A strategically located helipad at Bateshwar village has been carefully prepared to facilitate starting of inter-district helicopter service. Located just 65 km from Agra city, this helipad will act as the departure point for flights connecting Bateshwar to Govardhan in Mathura .

The Chief Minister said that the general public will benefit from the new schemes. The resolution emphasizes the need for a comprehensive solution to Afghanistan’s problems, including women’s rights, security, terrorism and narcotics. The humanitarian situation in Afghanistan has worsened due to international aid being stopped after the Taliban took power in August 2021.

AERDC is currently involved in design and development activities. Several new engines including two strategic engines – Hindustan Turbo Fan Engine (HTFE) of 25 kN thrust to enhance capability for trainers, UAVs, twin engined small combat aircraft or regional jets and 1200 kN to power light and medium aircraft. Thrust’s Hindustan Turbo Shaft Engine (HTSE) is used on heavy duty helicopters (3.5 to 6.5 tonnes in single/twin engine configuration).

According to a notification of the Finance Ministry, the interest rate of Sukanya Samriddhi Account Scheme has been increased by 20 basis points from 8 percent to 8.2 percent . Apart from this, the interest rate on three-year deposits has been increased by 10 basis points from 7 percent to 7.1 percent. The interest rates of other small savings schemes will remain the same as for the quarter of October-December 2023.

According to RIL’s website, the Jamnagar refinery complex houses some of the largest units in the world, such as fluidized catalytic cracker, coker, alkylation, paraxylene, polypropylene, refinery off-gas cracker and petcoke gasification plant. 18 members of the Indian women’s hockey team have been announced for the hockey qualifier to be held in Jharkhand for entry into the Olympics proposed to be held in Paris in July-August next year . This competition will be played in Ranchi next month from 13 to 19 January. Eight teams are participating in this competition.
